When asked about her collegiate aspirations, Wilson doesn't hesitate to name her top contenders. "I have a few schools in mind," she shares thoughtfully. "University of Oregon, University of Montana, or Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). These are my top three schools. MIT is my top academic school, and the other two are for track." With her eyes set on excellence both on the track and in the classroom, Wilson's collegiate journey promises to be as dynamic as her athletic pursuits.

Wilson's journey in track and field traces back to her childhood, where she found herself immersed in the sport thanks to her mother's involvement as a coach. "When I was in elementary school, my mom coached at the high school," Wilson reminisces. "I would always go with her to practices and meets." It was during these formative years that Wilson's love for the sport blossomed, fueled by her competitive spirit and a knack for speed.
From sprinting down the straightaways to navigating the curves of the track, Wilson has honed her skills in various events, with a focus on the 100m, 200m, and 400m dashes. "I've always known I wanted to run at a higher level," she explains, reflecting on her unwavering dedication to the sport. "There hasn't been a time where I've thought about doing something else."

"As far as highlights go," Wilson shares modestly, "I was district champion in the 400m freshman year." She continues, "That same year, my 4x2 relay team broke the school record." Fast forward to the present, and Wilson finds herself breaking records once again, as her relay team shattered the school record once more in a recent meet. With two consecutive years of state qualifications under her belt, Wilson's track career is poised for even greater success.

Beyond the track, Wilson's athletic prowess extends to the volleyball court, where she showcases her versatility and competitive spirit. "This year for volleyball was the first time I've been to postseason," Wilson reveals proudly. "We had a great team and ended up making it to the next level." Her contributions on the court earned her Second Team All-League honors, further solidifying her status as a standout athlete.

As Wilson is in the heart of another thrilling track season, her goals remain crystal clear. "I want to make it to finals in state this year for track," she declares with determination. "That means I have to be in the top 8 spots after my first races at state." "A fun little thing about me is that I love solving Rubik's cubes," she shares with a smile. "I'll bring all sorts of different ones to my meets to do when I get bored."
