Meet Lauryn Lee, the high-energy centerfielder who has been a driving force behind Bonney Lake Panthers softball. Fresh off a phenomenal junior season, Lee dominated at the plate and on the bases, proving to be one of the team’s most valuable assets. Now in her senior year, she’s set to lead the charge as the Panthers step up to the challenge of 4A competition.
A Season of Dominance
Lee’s numbers last season were nothing short of impressive. She posted a blistering .632 batting average, led the team with 46 runs scored and 48 hits, and tied for the lead in stolen bases with six. Her ability to make things happen on offense was undeniable, adding 30 RBIs, a home run, a triple, and three doubles to her stat line.
A staple in the two-hole of the lineup, Lee’s consistency was unmatched. Whether it was finding gaps, laying down bunts, or simply getting on base, she played a crucial role in keeping the Panthers’ offense rolling.
The Softball Journey

Lee’s love for the game started young.
“I have been playing softball since I was six years old and started playing club at about 10,” Lee said. “I grew up playing other sports like basketball and volleyball, but for some reason, softball was the only sport that stuck.”
That passion has translated into years of dedication, and it shows in the way she approaches every game.
The Next Chapter
With graduation around the corner, Lee has her sights set on Washington State University, where she plans to study nursing. Though she won’t be playing softball at the collegiate level, she knows the game will always be a part of her life.
“Softball will always be a big part of my life,” Lee said.
Until then, she’s savoring every moment of her final season, with a few key games circled on her calendar.
“My favorite part of the season is the late-night games against Riverside, but I’m especially excited for Senior Night this year,” she said.
Rising to the 4A Challenge

With Bonney Lake making the jump to 4A, Lee is ready to take on tougher competition and reconnect with former teammates who now play for rival schools.
“I look forward to moving to 4A and playing against some of my friends from other schools that I haven’t been able to play against the last three years,” she said.
Her personal goal for the season? Keep pushing herself and her team to stay resilient.
“One of my goals for this season is to continuously push myself and my teammates to never give up,” she said. “While this season may become challenging, I know we can do it.”
With her leadership, talent, and passion for the game, there’s no doubt Lee will leave a lasting impact on Bonney Lake softball. And as the Panthers take on this new challenge, she’ll be at the heart of it all—just as she always has been.
